We are Assured Fulfilment Limited (“Assured Fulfilment”, “we”, “our”). We are a limited company registered in England and Wales under registration number 13984852 and we have our registered office at Harmire Enterprise Park, Harmire Road, Barnard Castle, County Durham, DL12 8BN. We are the controller of the personal data we collect.  Our Operations Centre for Warehousing and Shipping is located at 6 Cumbie Way, Newton Aycliffe, County Durham, DL5 6YA.

The personal data we may collect includes (but is not limited to):

• information including name, email address, address, telephone number which we collect when you enquire about our services through our website;

• your payment information;

• contact detail information such as your name, email address, telephone number, job position, company name, address, and any other information provided by you in our request a quote form;

• information about your engagement with us online via our cookies and similar technologies such as your IP address and geographical location;

Sharing your data

When we provide services to you, we share your personal data with our vendors and third-party service providers, for instance, for payments processing or to organise warehousing and shipping. When we do so, we ensure having entered into Data Processing Agreements with our service providers, which means that they can only process your personal data in accordance with our instructions and they will not be able to use it for their own purposes.

Personal data may also be shared with government authorities and/or law enforcement officials for the prevention or detection of crime, if required by law or if required for a legal or contractual claim.

We have taken appropriate steps to ensure that personal data processed outside the UK has an essentially equivalent level of protection as it has within the UK. We do this by ensuring that:

 

• We enter into Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) with the providers and ensure that supplementary measures are also applied, where necessary (A copy of the existing SCCs can be found here Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) after the transition period ends | ICO. These are due to be updated shortly and we will update this privacy notice when this happens).

 

How long we keep your data

We will retain your personal data for as long as is necessary to provide you with our services and for a reasonable period thereafter to enable us to meet our contractual and legal obligations and to deal with complaints and claims.

At the end of the retention period, your personal data will be securely deleted or anonymised, for example by aggregation with other data, so that it can be used in a non-identifiable way for statistical analysis and business planning.

We endeavour to process all personal data securely and have implemented appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect data that we process from unauthorised disclosure, use, alteration or destruction.

• Where we are using your personal data because it is in our legitimate interests to do so, you can object to us using it this way.

• You can ask us to restrict the use of your personal data if:

  • It is not accurate.

  • It has been used unlawfully but you do not want us to delete it.

  • We do not need it any-more, but you want us to keep it for use in legal claims; or

  • If you have already asked us to stop using your data but you are waiting to receive confirmation from us as to whether we can comply with your request.

• In some circumstances you can compel us to erase your personal data.

• You can request a machine-readable copy of your personal data to transfer to another service provider.

• You have the right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing (including profiling) that produces legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affects you.

You will not have to pay a fee to access your personal data or to exercise any of the other rights. However, we may charge a reasonable fee if your request for access is clearly unfounded or excessive. Alternatively, we may refuse to comply with the request in such circumstances.
